Hello fellow BOI players. Ok so I'm opening up this discussion because I've seen other threads pertaining to this subject but nothing real recent, so hoping to see if views changed or stayed the same. I want this discussion to be mainly about the PVE aspects of the Slayer and Berzerker class and in player's opinions which is the better class PVE wise or are both equally great. Your views and opinions are much appreciated with reasoning behind your position on the subject. [Thinking about this from mid game to end game perspective.]

Berzerkers are better for PvE unless your team has 6 pets with pisces whirlpool. In which case, Slayer XP skill will gain 600 / every 15 seconds (assuming the skill crits). So technically, Slayers have the potential to be better than Berzerkers in PvE. And of course, they are far more superior in PvP.

However, its ridiculous for that scenario to come into play, and simple grinding (i.e. poseidon) caters more to Berzerkers, since they can hit more targets with their AoE skills -- in other words, the Slayer XP skill deals damage overkill while Berzerkers divide their damage among more mobs. Of course, Magus is better than Berzerkers when it comes to PvE anyway.

If only PW gave Berzerkers a boost to make them special... say eliminate the 5-target limit on Lunar Slash and make it similar to the Ashura Ulti...

With all variables constant, definitely berzerker for PVE, hands down. Slayers can't really do much DPS in PVE unless you're talking about bosses and not mobs. The only AOEs a slayer have is Crush and Fissure. One you get at 70 and another at 100. Not exactly PVE friendly lol.

And if you're a PVE kind of person, Magus is the way to go.
